SPEAKER READY ROOM ON SIXTH FLOOR
The speaker ready room for the conference is the Minnesota Room, on the
sixth floor of the Marriott. Those using laptop computers can test
their XGA LCD computer connection on a projector in that room.
INTERNET ACCESS
The Symposium will provide a very limited number (four) of computer
kiosks in the speaker ready room. The Symposium will not provide
wireless Internet access. However, the Marriott does provide wireless
Internet access in the main lobby, and the service might also be available
on the Symposium lobby (on the fifth floor). The usage charge
is $2.95 for the first 15 minutes and $0.25/minute after that, not including
taxes and applicable fees. Payment is made by credit card transfer over
a secure webpage. In addition, the conference hotel (and most other
hotels in the area) offer STSN Ethernet connections for $9.99 per 24 hour
period.

ISIT 2004 NAME BADGE AND TICKETS POLICY
Participants of ISIT 2004 should be careful to wear their
name badges at all symposium functions, both technical and
social.
The Annual Award Luncheon of the IEEE Information Theory Society, held on
Tuesday, is complimentary for members of the IEEE Information Theory Society
and student IEEE members. Those people will have "LT" printed on their badges
for admission to the luncheon. Others wishing to attend the luncheon should
purchase a banquet ticket ($25 while they last). The banquet Thursday evening
is complimentary for all ISIT 2004 registrants. Those who ordered the vegetarian
option can so indicate to the wait staff by placing the "VEGETARIAN" tag by
their plate. Guests can attend either the luncheon or banquet using tickets
($25 for luncheon and $80 for banquet, though availability may be limited
after Sunday ) which will be collected at the event entrances. As a courtesy
ISIT 2004 is happy to issue guest name badges for those guests. The guest
name badges and the VEGETARIAN tags are NOT admission tickets.
